A panel discussion on design's role in democratic systems and civic institutions. Daria Loi, former Head of Design at Mozilla, moderates a conversation with Raphael Arar, Head of Design at One Project, Ron Bronson, former Head of Design at 18F, and Andy Pressman, founder of the studio Rumors. The group brings deep experience across open-source software, government digital services and civic technology, and the discussion covers what designers owe the public when they build the interfaces people use to vote, apply for benefits, or hold institutions accountable. No registration is required and the event is free to attend. Presented by AIGA Portland as part of Portland Design Month, in a casual bar setting built for questions and conversation afterward. https://www.aigapdx.org/events/joy-is-rebellion-collage-night-b5hwf
